ABOUT ME

Lighthouses are designed to bring safe navigation during limited visibility including treacherous environments and uncharted territory.  I truly care about my clients' well-being and guarantee services catered to your needs. 

I hold a M.A. from Liberty University in Human Services Counseling with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. My undergraduate BA degree is in Biblical Studies with a minor in Communications from Dallas Baptist University. Fall 2022 I will be pursuing an Ed.D in Trauma Counseling from Liberty University.

I am a follower of Jesus, working to share His unconditional love and healing to those in my community. I married my best friend in 2008. Together we joined our youth ministries and have been in active ministry to teenagers, families, individuals, and couples for a combined 25 years of experience.  

I have real-life experience with the seasons of life and the journey TO parenthood, now currently navigating the journey OF parenting. I understand the joys and frustrations of life and partner with clients to increase their safe haven accessibility. 

Marriage and family are incredible gifts from God--sometimes we need assistance in making the most of our time with these gifts.

Conceptionally I integrate cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) techniques and NLP with Biblical principles.
